Love the material

Five to seven hours in the saddle, making films, relaxed team evenings. After a few days here in Calpe, we already have a good number of kilometers in our legs. Every day we ride between 150 and 210 kilometers. I am doing a lot better than the first training camp. And I still am happy every day when I sit on my new bike. The material is really top. As a pro you have nearly unlimited access to the best material, but I am now again really excited about the equipment. I am also very satisfied with my time trial bike. Cycling is the best sport in the world – also because of the constant fiddling with the bikes and the development of the material. But you are familiar with that ;-)

After the first three-day block, we made an ad for Alpecin on the rest day and relaxed some. The filming was a new experience for me, but it was pretty funny.

The training camp here of course also serves the purpose letting us get to know each other better. And I must say, that I feel very well. My first impression, which I got last year, has proved to be absolutely right. The guys are super and the staff very professional. It is a lot of fun to work with all of them.
